Jemimah's Witnesses cook up a savory pancake dish that even the Willing Wino himself would be proud of.
The Willing Wino gets in the fall spirit with this sweet and tart beverage.
One thing we all agree on: we'll never get tired of pancakes! We decided to share a delicious recipe that will have your taste buds screaming in ecstacy. We recommend treating yourself to a bubble bath after trying this one. You're gonna need it. Here's what you'll need:
2 cups Original Bisquick mix
¾ cup milk
¼ cup Disaronno (or any amaretto liqueur)
2 eggs
1 tbsp sugar
Pinch (or two) of cinnamon
Splash of vanilla extract
Combine all ingredients and stir until blended. Pour a small amount of batter (a few inches in diameter) onto a hot griddle or skillet. Cook on low heat until the edges are dry and the top has a nice matte sheen to it. Flip and cook a few more seconds until the bottom is a nice golden-brown color.
For added pizzazz, add some sliced almonds into the mix!
Makes about 8-10 pancakes

All around us Autumn is in full bloom: the air is chilly, the leaves are changing colors, and the Willing Wino is pouring himself another drink. To help you get in the spirit of the season (or just have another excuse to drink), try whipping up this tasty martini treat! Get these things:
Zeigler's Old-Fashioned Apple Cider
Vodka (of your choice)
Cinnamon, sugar, and nutmeg
Cinnamon sticks
First mix up a small batch of cinnamon sugar (or cheat and buy some already pre-mixed). Dip the rim of your martini glass in some apple cider poured into a small bowl, then dip it in your cinnamon sugar mixture.
In a martini shaker, combine 1 part vodka with 3 parts apple cider and a few ice cubes. Give it a few good shakes to ensure it's all mixed, then pour into your rimmed martini glass. Garnish with a cinnamon stick and sprinkle a little bit of nutmeg on top. The perfect drink for those crisp Autumn nights!
For a stronger drink, mix 1 part vodka with only 2 parts apple cider. Kickin'!
